To repair a scratched CD or DVD , the disc first washed with soap and water. Avoid using soap powder diluted in water because of not being completely dissolved, small particles much damage the surface to be repaired. Remove all stains made by the fingers, including dust that is adhered to the surface.

Take the CD and place it on a flat surface to prevent cracking in the process. We recommend a table covered with a cotton shirt to avoid scratches on the other side. Place several drops of the material you have chosen for scratch (the most recommended is the brasso, you can get at any hardware store). Once the process is complete, clean the excess with the same piece of cloth moistened with water, wait for it to dry and test the drive.
