The baobab is an extremely appealing to the eyes of man tree, this volume fame from the book "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Worldwide there are 8 species of these mysterious and strange trees that can live for 1000 years and store up to 1,000 liters of water in its trunk.
Of the 8 species of the baobab World 6 are found on the island of Madagascar. Legend has it that on one occasion the gods were offended and planted a tree upside down, leaving the roots to the sky and giving rise to the baobab .
The baobab world's largest has 47 meters in circumference and over the years its trunk begins to hollow out inside. Sunland Baobab in Modjadjiskloof has a bar for refreshments inside his own trunk.
