3 errors that prevent you advance your music career

Want to be a professional musician, you have talent, but there is something that prevents progress. Maybe you're making any of these 3 mistakes.

Errors that prevent you advance your music career

Although they're very good professional, you have a lot of musical and artistic talent, you're probably not advancing in your career and not reach your goals.

Doing interviews and talking to people who are dedicated to this profession, one can deduce three important things to keep them from stepping forward.

Here are three mistakes you're probably making.

1. Waiting for a manager to do YOUR job

When you're starting your career, it is imperative that you learn and take charge yourself for the promotion and marketing. Why a manager not interested do YOUR job if you're a beginner?

The reality is that the managers and representatives live commissions. Apart from its economic responsibilities, many of them have to support their families. Working with musicians and bands that do not yet have a good agenda and fixed income poses a risk not only to themselves but also to their families. The more income groups without agenda or have, the more risk assumed!

Also, a good manager or representative, if it really is a good professional, will NOT invest your time and money on people who have not yet demonstrated their potential and worth.

Possibly a group to be signed by a representative agency only when you have passed several stages of development: first concerts in the local environment, some lineup changes, short-format recordings distributed online, increasing their progressive agenda and gradual professionalization.

So, do not wait for someone to go to promote without you doing the work necessary to get it. No that is: "I'm just a musician, I know you sell" . To be a good professional, you have to learn everything about your work, not just play.

2. Be between "a lot"

When you put your videos on Youtube, Myspace, etc.., Why just have to look at you?

We speak from the point of view of the public: many are and also they seem both to each other if you want to bet on someone, you think, "well, let's take a ballot to see who gets" . Think you're lucky enough to make you touch the lottery again and again?

Create your own website so that we, the audience, can see who you are, what you've done, what you do, your potential ... Prove your worth!. No matter if you are not yet sufficiently known in this world. First always the feeling of self-worth is built, then comes the rest. Furthermore, your website will give us the opportunity to contact you directly and that will change things radically.

3. Want to like everybody

You trying like everyone and do what appeals to everyone, you start to doubt your talent, your intuition, you lose your own identity, how special you are and in the end what you get it is anyone to notice you .
to the music of artists such as Freddie Mercury, Elvis Presley and Mick Jagger leave many people indifferent ... As you know, this has not affected their careers, because there are people who let their music impacted.

When you try to do something that everybody likes, you block your creative side, you close your heart, your emotions and your intuition. Trying to "do", and stop being ... maybe you miss good music or a professional interpretation, but it is not what I want to hear again and again and not wake up, do not put the willies, does not inspire ...

When you take care of advertising, do what others are doing to sell and sell, when you're creating, be yourself.

Avoid making these 3 mistakes and learn how to do those things that are equally important to sing or play. Remember that talent is only 5% of success, the rest is a work that is not always the most liked ...
