For various reasons some cities are abandoned, one day people stop walking and breathing through its streets. These will be silenced and abandoned cities will have an almost fantasy life. Their stories are fascinating, some have been victims of disasters and others have lost the industries that have flourish in its heyday.
1) Pripyat.
Location: Pripyat, Ukraine 100 km from Kiev.
History: April 26 1986, the Chernobyl reactor began to overheat and tragedy resulted in the history of mankind. The incident was a blow to the viability of the platform of nuclear power, and even today the city of Pripyat is an abandoned city frozen in time 1980 of the former Soviet Union shell. Today the reactor has not been buried in a proper cover called "sarcophagus", the area remains unsafe for human life.
